Monica Masini

In May of 2022, Monica received her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (UIC Law). Monica graduated with honors and a concentration in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. At UIC Law, Monica served as a graduate assistant for the UIC Restorative Justice Project and as a teaching assistant for an intensive writing course on legal research and writing. Additionally, while attending law school, Monica was a Judicial Extern for Honorable Judge Thomas J. Kelley in the Domestic Relations Division in Cook County District 3 for two semesters.

Monica completed her undergraduate education at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2019 with a major in Criminal Justice/Pre-Law, and minors in Sociology and Political Science. During her undergraduate career, Monica was a collegiate athlete with the Women’s Basketball team and was involved in multiple school organizations.

Monica joined The Law Office of Miriam Cooper and Associates, LLC, now known as Cooper Trachtenberg Law Group, LLC in 2018. Monica worked as an intern, law clerk, and upon passing the July 2022 Illinois Bar Exam and being sworn in, she is an associate attorney.

Monica was raised in Palatine, Illinois and she went to school and played sports at Palatine High School (go Pirates!). When Monica is not working, she enjoys playing with her dog, Bowie.
